Select have been in the business of supplying meat successfully to the UK’s top restaurants for over 12 years – ‘It’s all about the meat. Paul Rhodes founded Paul Rhodes bakery in 2003. He then had three Michelin Stars under his belt and a dedicated passion for baking bread. His produce is hand crafted, hand decorated and baked directly on the stone base of their ovens. They use the finest flours, salt and the best ingredients available. Juicy Italian olives, beautiful roasted garlic, fresh British apples, vine tomatoes, herbs – and of course lots of seeds and grains.

The Blackface Meat Co. is a small family business, rearing Blackface sheep and Galloway cattle on a heather clad hill farm in the South West of Scotland. They supply us with a wide range of high quality, oven-ready game from selected Scottish estates and also source slow grown ‘Iron Age’ pork and Christmas turkeys from nearby farms. This is the lamb, mutton, game, beef and pork enjoyed by our ancestors.
Solsice Food Logo
Solstice was created by Philip Britten, a Michelin Starred Chef, frustrated at not being able to find a supplier capable of consistently providing the quality of produce that he needed to cook with. Philip decided to cut out the middleman, and started going himself to New Covent Garden Market every morning at 5am to buy his own fruit and vegetables. The next logical step was to offer the products he sourced to other frustrated Chefs in restaurants and hotels in the London. Now Phillip works solely on Solstice supplying London’s leading restaurants.

This leads to a slightly smaller bird but with a plumper breast, which has a far superior and complex rich taste. We did a blind tasting and the Norfolk Quail won hands down.
